Three European parties for the animals

The time of political parties for animals has come. Here's a brief update about three of the European parties for animals.

The Swedish Djurens Parti

Even though the Swedish party for the animals, Djurens parti, only has been around for about a year and two months the Swedish citizens have been able to vote for it on two occasions - in the European parliament election and in the national elections. Djurens parti did not win any seats in parliament in these two elections. I believe more time is needed before this party will win seats in parliament.

Animal Justice Party of Finland

An even newer party for the animals started in Finland this year, it is called Suomen Eläinoikeuspuolue − Animal Justice Party of Finland.

The Party for the Animals

The Dutch Partij voor de Dieren -  or in English the Party for the Animals - is probably the most successful party for animals in Europe. A short piece of news about this party is that they recently changed their logo. I think the logo is supposed to be a butterfly on a green background. See the new logo below.
